Maynardville 2026: Cape Ballet Africa | Giselle

"We enjoyed a picnic near the dam. Whilst the entrance to the garden and the Maynardville artist arena is a stunning location and setting, the dam itself is totally overgrown with water hyacinth and some rubbish floating in it .... it should be maintained and its ecological importance and ambience upgraded to meet the theater and arena status please. THE PERFORMANCE OF GISELLE WAS INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU!"

"Fabulous opera on a balmy evening at Maynardville. The young singers were all outstanding including the junior choir. And the presenter, pianist was superb….painted each scene with passion and humour. Please can we have more evenings like these. Thank you Janet"

Maynardville 2026: Cape Ballet Africa | Giselle

"Such a beautiful setting, a good choice of food trucks. The ballet was exquisite and my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the next. Only suggestion is to stagger the seating a bit so that you are seated in the gap between people in the row in front as opposed to right behind them. Thanks for an amazing evening. "
