About

The African Women's Movement (AWM) is a non-profit organisation committed to addressing systemic inequality between men and women, particularly in Africa. We bring together women from diverse organisations, uniting their efforts for greater collective impact. Our approach is holistic, grounded in the biopsychosocial and Continuous Lifelong Development (CLD™) model, empowering women across Africa and the diaspora.

At the heart of our work is the Thrive Programme—a gamified system for personal and professional development that equips women with the skills, resources, and support to thrive in all aspects of life: personally, socially, and economically. Our community spans multiple sectors, working to influence key industries, advocate for economic justice, and develop future female leaders through training and mentorship.

Our vision is a world where women and youth are empowered to thrive as equal contributors in every facet of life.
