"Great community initiative. Loved the topic and seemed to be well attended. Please fund-raise for a microphone so that we don't miss out on what speakers are saying, I felt that the hall does not carry sound well. The food choice was okay, I did not enjoy having to wait so long to be served and the wraps were tough, the chicken filling was tasty. And please arrange more drinks, like ciders - we seem to be a thirsty bunch - you can even charge more. Keep it up and thank you for arranging. "

"Absolutely incredibly well organized event, a friend and I only arrived just after 14h00 so we were surprised that by 15h00 the food was being served. Loved every dish that was prepared, unfortunately only able to eat so much so didn't get to sample every teams effort however the ones I did get to was so delicious. Every team made such an awesome effort to think outside the box and be so creative with not only preparation but presentation as well. There appeared to be plenty of food for everyone, no long ques to wait in. There was a guy singing ( think his name is Darren ) beautiful voice and a wonderful selection of songs he sang ! Weather truly played it's part in the day, Eastern Cape at it's finest. Amble parking, even off site parking was manned by a polite gentleman. Toilets were impeccably clean considering there was such a crowd. I loved the fact that there was staff milling around and collecting empty plates and used cutlery .... so no crockery was just lying around on tables. I wasn't going to attend , my husband bought us the tickets and at the last minute he chose to go with his buddies to watch the rugby, he could have watched the rugby at the venue however I'm so glad I made the effort to take a friend and attend. If there was a negative ..... I would have to say the crowds often waiting at the bar to be served. We waited awfully long periods of time to order our refreshments but I need to add despite the business when it was our turn to be served the barman and barlady were polite and were working nonstop as efficiently as they could. Would I attend and support this event again ... most definitely !! Well done to all who worked very hard on their day off to make this a beautiful day for others to relax and enjoy !"
