PAPAZ Bistro

Our flagship company, Bunches for Africa, was founded by Jaco and Cindy Fischer in September 2002. Bunches for Africa specializes in the wholesale supply of fresh flowers to various retailers in the Western Cape and also sells flowers, gifts and decorative items directly to the public sector. In the early years, the owners of Bunches for Africa started a small coffee shop as part of the flower warehouse. Coffee@Bunches was introduced in 2006 and in 2018 management boldly decided to upgrade this coffee shop to a thoroughbred bistro called PAPAZ bistro. 

As Bunches for Africa is a family business, Papaz Bistro was named after Cindy's father, Manie Wright, who worked as the manager and cook since 2006 up to 2020. Manie is still a major part of Papaz as he now works as the events chef behind the scenes on weekends to ensure that your event are memorable and tasteful. 

The bistro's interior was carefully chosen to incorporate a decorative mixture of the past, present & future which was inspired by the involvement of three generations in this family business.
