Airport Christian Fellowship
About
John and Bev Wasserman were both born in the beautiful city of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and have been blessed with three wonderful children. Two of their children reside in South Africa, while one lives in the USA.
While serving actively in their home church, John and Bev felt God’s call to full-time ministry. Pastor John pursued pastoral training at Elim Bible College from 1981 to 1983. In November 1983, they returned to Bulawayo, where they served as Assistant Pastors.
At the end of 1984, John and Bev were led to Bonaero Park in Kempton Park, South Africa, where they established Airport Christian Fellowship (ACF). Since its founding, ACF has been blessed with steady Kingdom growth and continues to thrive.
From 1993 to 2007, Pastor John ministered in several countries, including Zimbabwe, England, Ireland, Wales, Egypt, Armenia, and Holland. Since 2007, his focus has shifted back to ACF and churches in South Africa. Over the past three years, he has also preached at conferences in Victoria Falls and Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
For several years, Pastor John hosted a TV program, **“Outrageous Grace,”** which aired on the Spirit Word Channel and reached approximately 2 million viewers monthly around the world. He also co-hosted another TV program, **“The Prophetic Voice,”** which was viewed by 2.4 million people across 29 countries.
Six years ago, Pastor John received a prophetic word that God was placing an apostolic mantle on him and ACF. Soon after, churches began to be planted out of ACF. Currently, 22 churches and ministries are connected to Pastor John, with some planted directly by ACF and others joining the network to benefit from his oversight. He is now assisting with another church plant, which will bring the total number of related churches to 23.
