ONE NAGA Film and Food Club is an experimental studio dedicated to curating innovative experiences at the intersection of film and food sovereignty.

Founded and directed by producer and cook Motheo Mamabolo in 2021, NAGA explores decentralised methods of distribution that offer artists, farmers, growers and manufacturers greater autonomy and sustainability. Through screenings, food experiences, workshops, writing and experimental programming, NAGA creates collaborative spaces where interdisciplinary ideas can thrive.

FERMENTED extends this practice by treating food itself as an archive. A way of carrying histories, knowledge and possibility from one generation into another.
