Lana English & Victor Siljeur

Lana & Victor became a classical singing duo in 2005. This brother and sister pair have dazzled many audiences with their breathtaking voices and beautifully selected pieces including well known compositions from Puccini, Verdi and Andrew Lloyd Webber as well as songs made famous by Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban, Andrea Boccelli, Pavarotti and others.

In September 2006, Lana & Victor performed in the United Kingdom at the residence of BBC World's gourmet chef, James Martin. James and guests thoroughly enjoyed their superb performance.

Over the past years they have taken their audiences to new heights with their impressive range and ability to convey the story behind each beautiful item they perform.

Included in some of their audiences have been well known figures namely Nelson Mandela, The Angolan President ( held at Presidential Palace in Angola) and Mr C Hall (now retired CEO of Woolworths), International and local audiences on board MSC Cruise Liners, to name but a few.


Lana & Victor's first CD is titled, "Take my Life... and let it be" - a collection of beautiful sacred classics was recorded in 2007 and is still enjoyed by so many. Their second CD within the classical/pop genre, consisting of pieces written specifically for their voices along with some of their well known renditions of other widely acclaimed pieces including songs like "One Day I'll Fly Away", "La Califfa", "Unchained Melody" and a very popular Afrikaans rendition of the well known "Gabriel's Oboe" (from the movie "The Mission") as well as a song “This is me” written by Lana, Victor with the help and brilliant music of Clive Ridgeway!


Lana English

Started singing at a young age in the church choir and at the age of 17 she made her solo debut. In 1993 she started part-time singing lessons with Vetta Wise and began singing in the ad-hoc chorus at CAPAB. After attending a master class with Wendy Fine, she was recommended to Alvon Collison and this resulted in her starring in Showtime and Showtime 2001 at Artscape.

In June 2002 she began to sing as a permanent member of the Cape Town Opera Vocal Ensemble. Lana has also sung with the SA Navy Band and for various government functions and heads of state, as well as prominent leaders, locally and abroad, most notably for Archbishop Desmond Tutu's 70th birthday celebrations at his residence.

At the end of October 2003, Lana auditioned for South African production of "The Phantom of the Opera" and was offered the leading role of Christine Daae. She is still actively involved in the New Apostolic Church choir which she loves.


Victor Siljeur

Victor has, from a young age had a natural singing ability and has received coaching from various teachers. He has extensive choral singing experience and features as a soloist on a number of the New Apostolic church's CD's and DVD's.

In 2002 at the Baxter theatre, in Cape Town, Victor performed with the UCT orchestra, conducted by Prof. Jurgen Schwetering. In 2005 he was invited to perform as one of Cape Town's Three Tenors, and here made his debut as a tenor after always being referred to as a `high baritone`.

He has also performed with the renowned Italian tenor Maestro Domingo Stasi. Victor continues to perform as a soloist for regular events and live streaming events where possible!
