"What a magnificent evening with the Paternoster Wine Lounge setting the scene for this glamourous Shoreline dinner event. Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of bubbles and entered this ambient space where one felt the subtle hints of the West Coast, from the soft warm lighting show casing ocean inspired artworks by Liebet Jooste to the long table set with candles, local fauna and flora one could feel that something special was about to happen. While sipping on our champagne waiting for the other guests to arrive, we enjoyed taking in the street life of this small quirky fishing village from the sundowner stoep. Once we were officially seated the evening was about to take off... What an exploration of mouth-watering foods by chef Adel Hughes from Seebamboes, embodying what this Shoreline event is all about, creating magic with locally hand-picked produce made with so much attention to the detail of flavour combinations that are so familiar to the palate yet surprise you in every bite. Each of the 5 courses were paired with delicious wine from Donkiesbaai, which we thoroughly enjoyed tasting and hearing the story of each wine. What a spectacular evening spent celebrating creative minds and expanding ours, with magnificent food, wine and the special humans who made this evening one to remember. "

"What an amazing invigorating event. The hosts of the lounge are so welcoming and knowledgeable on their wines. Liebet's passion and drive for the shore and ocean shines through from her teaching all the way through to her art. The mussels and bread that was served is if top quality. Hope to join more of these type of events soon. "
