Hunger has no religion

My name is Nuraan, my journey started about 7 years ago feeding children and families. Over time the need of our people grew more and more from donating blankets, feminine packs for women and young girls, baby nappies, the list is infinite. I could only rely on a generous group of friends and family. Many sleepless nights of thinking ‘what more can I do’ and ‘have I done enough’ stretched over my mind. As the need became greater than what I could ever imagine, more than religion, more than a community, and more than the last meal - it gave rise to Hunger has no Religion. 

Our target is to raise funds of R100 000 to not only secure our food supply over a period of 3 months but more necessary, is putting up a proper structure for our cooking area. We have been experiencing unpredictable weather patterns, so much more rain than usual, while the make-shift shelter we used to cook outside is failing us. The rains have affected our storage room and we unable to store anything for more than a day. 

We feed up to 600 people a day. Please help us raise funds to continue feeding the community.
