Ten Tales
About
Ten Tales is an online storytelling community, started in Cape Town. Our goal is to facilitate a communal engagement and celebrate the diversity and parallels of personal experiences, through the art of storytelling.
At each gathering, 10 selected members of the local community have an opportunity to share a hilarious, heartwarming or tear-jerking story, poem or song in front of a live streaming audience.
We believe everybody has a story to tell, and is worth listening to.
Each event will have an overarching theme, and every storyteller have 5 minutes to share a personal perspective on the theme. The stories must be personal and original, written by the teller him/herself, or have the necessary permission from the author.
This is not a platform for lamentation, negotiation or creating frustration, by any means.
A good story is one that leads to a meaningful change, in an entertaining, inspiring & insightful manner.
