About
The purpose of this fundraiser is for the Events Informal Traders, Small Business Sector of our Communities.
We are the vendors that makes your events, may it be your sports, festival, market, family run etc., a success by being there to enhance your events.
Since the Covid 19 Pandemic and Moratorium put on Public gatherings, on the 13th March 2020. Our vendor communities has been hit hard, with no income to be generated from Events. As Public Events are our income, to support our families, sustain our livelihoods. As of today, no financial assistance has been issued by Government to assist this specific sector of the Entertainment Sector / Events sector of the SMME's.
We decided to start a fundraiser to assist our vendor communities, the "Tannie" that makes the pancakes who is generating extra income to help with her pension. The “Oom that makes that delicious Hamburger, which generates his income to put his own child through school.
Our plea is to the each and everyone, may it be the individual that bought the wooden sculpure at the Market, or the Company that asked a Food Vendor to cater for their team building, for the school that had a festival or sport event to assist us to support and recover from the Covid-19 pandemic and onwards, to have HOPE that we also can get through these financial difficulties and can rebuild our small businesses and support our families.
We would appreciate any donations, as this will assist to provide food, staff wages, rents and survival for the Event Vendor Community.
