"An absolute delight from start to finish. The amount of thought and care that went into planning this event was absolutely phenomenal. The passion of the organizers for Sir Pratchett's works was clear in every little detail. I especially enjoyed the immense amount of themed activities available - there was hardly enough time in the day to get to everything. The official characters were amazing, they were picture-perfect and stayed in character all day, which must have been so tiring for them! Good job to everyone involved, there aren't enough synonyms for "amazing" to describe how it was! I will absolutely attend DD again next year and will 100% attend other Alter Egos events. Most fun I've had in a long time!"

"Dayle and her team are excellent, from organising to execution, staying in character and having patience with all the fanatic lunatics that need managing. I saw several people act in ways that would thoroughly justify incorporating a scorpion pit but whose misbehaviour (and in one case even aggression at the info booth) was met with professional courtesy and patience. Often at such events, it is clear that preference is given to either the staff, the civilians or the stall owners, whereas AlterEgos managed to protect and satisfy all parties. (It is noted that not a staffer there could be anything less than exhausted given how much they put into the day.) The day was well planned and executed, and I would gladly recommend any event hosted by this team."

"More food vendors would be good to give a bigger variety of choice. If it had rained, the event would not have worked. Luckily it was a lovely sunny day. It was a wonderful day and event. Will be back next year!"
