"I have been to many of these events (although, of course, not over the last couple of years) and they never disappoint. It was wonderful to be back in a good-humoured, fun day out. I love the good nature of the vendors, the way people take delight in each other's dressing up, and the way the organisers make it look as though it is all effortless and fun for them as well. There can't be many events that have something for people dressed in leather with spiky accoutrements, and for small children dressed as fluffy dragons and pastel unicorns, and for everyone in between. My only regret was that there was no doughnut stand!"
