About

I’m an artist based in Cape Town. Images of the South African landscape, flowers, and my loved ones often find their way into my studio process and paintings.

Over time, my approach has shifted from purely intuitive to more intentional, resulting in one of a kind works that exist between observation and abstraction. My paintings explore memory, place, and emotion, often expressed through layered, expressive mark making and a soft, organic palette.

My current body of work, Field Study, marks a return to working outside. It brings my practice back into direct conversation with place, reconnecting me to a more instinctive and physical way of making.

Alongside my studio practice, I host a series of intimate, well curated workshops in Cape Town. These experiences are designed to be meaningful, slow, and creatively fulfilling, offering a space for connection both to self and to others.

With a limited number of participants, each workshop is intentionally kept small and personal, allowing for thoughtful guidance and a deeper creative experience. My upcoming winter workshops will continue this approach, offering exclusive, seasonal gatherings centred around art, atmosphere, and connection.
