SAIRA is an organisation that was established to promote, support and protect Internet Retailers in South Africa. Our vision is to become the Home of Internet Retailing in South Africa.

The company is structured around the following three cornerstones:

1. Member Services – we offer a variety of different subscription models, each with a unique range of benefits. We would like to be a broad church and with this in mind, have put together a number of different subscription options to cater for all clients. We also offer a separate package for suppliers of goods and services to the Internet Retailing Industry. 2. Conference and Training – SAIRA will host an annual multi-day conference and exhibition exclusively dedicated to Internet Retailing in South Africa. We have attended our fair share of conferences (local and international) in the past, and believe that we have developed a unique and interactive model that will give real value to all participants – we understand that the needs of our Members and delegates are different and will therefore offer different streams and levels. SAIRA will also be hosting regional seminars and workshops on a regular basis. At this stage, these will be presented in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban, but we would like to take these to other areas as well.
3. Online Retail Awards – one of the best ways to recognize excellence and to promote our Members and the online retail industry as a whole, is to offer an annual competition, which is easy to enter, offers all entrants an equal chance of winning and is judged on fair and measurable criteria. We believe that we have a unique formula that will enable this. Winners (overall and category), will be automatically entered into the International Online Retail Awards.
