In its 15th year, the exciting 2024 edition of the CELLUDROID Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Animation Film Festival will run across 25 September - 6 October, with amazing movies and short films you're unlikely to see anywhere else in South Africa. This year we're screening the festival at the exciting new ROXY Woodstock venue! (354 Albert Road, across from the Biscuit Mill)

Each movie will be preceded by various cool short films from around the world. While all movies are digital, expect a very special rare treat of a 16mm film projection from a well preserved original print of the 1951 classic THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL!

(And, your popcorn may just be free on arrival!)

The ROXY shows will run from 26 September until 6 October, but CELLUDROID will kick off with a special (free) advance screening on 25 September at a commercial cinema chain in Cape Town of the new movie HELLBOY: THE CROOKED MAN!
