Jacques is a copywriter, author and workshop leader specialising in writing copy that converts visitors into prospects, prospects into customers and customers into super-fans. He has presented more than 1200 discourses on influence and persuasion both locally and internationally. He has ghostwritten eight books and four for his own account. When he's not teaching or writing, you'll find him studying philosophy, ancient military cultures, catching bass and playing chess.

"It was a well-organized event, a beautiful venue & a great MC. I loved each of the presenters' topics. It is also an excellent format & safe place for any presenter to master their stage presence.
I think a practice session ahead of the event should be made compulsory for presenters - just like the slide deck had to be in a week before. It makes a big difference.... even after I had practiced at home; I found the stage unnerving & it did help that I had squeezed in a session beforetime.
The encouragement to share on social media is a great one - it raises the profile of the event. I got many people asking: what was that all about? They had no idea what Pechakucha was all about. Now they know."
