Think Camp
About
?? Think Camp is South Africa's tech-focused holiday camp. Multiple day-camps in Cape Town where kids aged 7 to 13 build real things with Minecraft, game design, and AI-assisted coding. Everything about us lives at thinkcamp.co.za.
The camps
- ?? MakeCraft · 3D modelling and Redstone engineering in Minecraft. Plan builds in three dimensions, then construct 15+ structures and machines. Ages 7 to 11.
- ?? PlayCraft · Game architecture and command-block scripting in Minecraft. Explore the coordinate system and scripting framework, then build a game. Ages 8 to 12.
- ?? WorldBuilder · AI-powered 3D design and architecture with Claude Code. Castles, towns, cities and wild geometric builds. Ages 10 to 13.
- ??? GameBuilder · AI-powered game development and asset creation. See how code is made at the cutting edge, then build your dream game. Ages 10 to 13.
How a camp day works
- ? 08:00 to 15:30, with secure drop-off and easy parking
- ?? Rondebosch Sports Club, Sandown Road, in Cape Town's Southern Suburbs
- ?? Everything provided, including the computers
- ?? Every camp ends with a showcase where campers present what they built
- ??? Early-bird price is R950 per day (regular R1,150), and you can book single days or the full week
Why kids love it
No worksheets, and no screens-as-babysitters. Campers plan their builds, hit real problems, and engineer their way out, working in small groups with an instructor team that's hands-on from the first hello at drop-off. Curious about the thinking behind it? Read how we teach and who we are.
