The Yoga Shala and Chelsey Mcluckie Yoga come together to offer you a Beginners Yoga Workshop hosted in Richmond Hill, Port Elizabeth.


The workshop series will follow the Primary Ashtanga series offering each student a safe, accessible and well-rounded practice that forms a solid base for a consistent self-practice.


The Ashtanga system is designed to work as a movement meditation, where the transitions from posture to posture or as important as the postures themselves. The goal is that every breath taken becomes a conscious one.


The Ashtanga practice attempts to balance strength with flexibility and steadiness with ease as a way for us to experience our true nature. Through this practice, we learn more about sensitivity, awareness and concentration. All things we are able to take off of our mat. The practice exceeds far beyond the physical.


No previous yoga experience required. Expect the practice to be tailored to each unique individual, with modifications and advancements offered in each pose.


This workshop series is aimed at those who wish to start yoga, refresh their basics or develop a solid foundation for a self-practice.
