"Roger Lucey is back after his first sold out and critically acclaimed performance of How To Build A House In The Mountains at Rootspring House late last year. If you missed it last time, make sure to catch it this time".

Roger Lucey's music career was ended by a covert security police campaign in the early 80's. He became a doorman, a barman, and then a TV news cameraman. In 1997 he built a house in the BainsKloof mountains. It was an endeavour that would change his life and bring him back to his musical roots. How To Build A House In The Mountains is a live show, the story of forty years in a South African troubadours life, a wild and often dangerous roller coaster ride that has finally reached a restful place.

"It was an enthralling evening. An interesting story, well told... a superb song-writer" - John Maytham, Actor, poet, broadcaster.

"There are only a few troubadours and writers in each generation, those souls who record and document an era, who say on behalf of us all, We also lived, We loved, We experienced pain, We were brave, We enjoyed living, We did extraordinary things, We will not be forgotten as long as these songs are sung or these poems are spoken. Roger is the epitome of the spirit of the new South Africa, His show is uplifting, poetic and inspiring and it’s not to be missed" - Graham Weir, Actor, playwright, musician.

"An amazing show. Your story is both honest and entertaining and linking the appropriate songs was perfect. I was just blown away". - Martin Petersen, Chair, Barleycorn Music club

"How to Build a House in the Mountains needs to be seen, felt and heard globally!" - Monica Rorvik, Head Film and Media, Wesgro

"Highly recomended" - Nigel Vermaas, Broadcaster, actor, writer.
