Speaker: Pieter du Preez

A rising triathlete, Pieter was still at university when a car knocked him off his bicycle, changing his life forever. Now a C6 quadriplegic, Pieter’s life would take on a new direction including becoming a professional para athlete. An actuarial analyst by day, Pieter holds multiple African and world records and was the first quadriplegic to swim the Robben Island crossing. Be inspired by this world champion as he shares his story about moving the barriers of possibility.

Film: North of the Sun

Inge and Jørn spent 9 months of cold, Norwegian winter in the isolated and uninhabited bay of a remote, arctic island. There they built a cabin out of driftwood and other cast-off materials that washed up on shore and ate expired food the stores would otherwise have thrown away. They also brought with them two items of utmost importance: their surfboards. Because the remote bay holds a well kept secret of some of the worlds finest surfing waves.
