Dave Reynolds & Pops Mohamed will be in Cape Town composing music for a movie called "San Dance" about the rituals & ceremonies of the San people of the Kalahari. They've decided to take some time out on the week-end to do an intimate show or two, this one in your home (or a friend's if you want to partner with someone) on Sunday 15th Sept in the afternoon.

Pops Mohamed is SA's leading indigenous crossover artist. He has released 38 albums to date, been awarded three Lifetime Achievement Awards and regularly tours the world with the likes of Andreas Vollenweider, Cat Stevens and Baaba Maal.

Dave Reynolds is SA's leading steelpan player, an award winning composer, acoustic guitarist and harpist. He has recorded and performed all over the world with Andy Narell, Hugh Masekela, Steve Newman & Gito Baloi (of Tananas), Tony Cox and Paul Hanmer to name a few. His most recent solo album "The Light of Day" was nominated for three SAMAs.

So here's the synopsis ... You book here then invite some of your friends around to share a new experience on a Sunday afternoon, say from 3pm. It could be a concert of about an hour, followed by a bring-&-share early dinner. It could also be an African Sound Journey of 45mins, a 15 minute break then a 30 minute concert. You could offer it as gift to your community, or donation-based thingy-ma-jig or even charge people at the door.
