ATK DotA TI9 1v1 Tournament

ATK is hosting official pubstomps for TI9 and in light of that we have decided to host another 1v1 tournament!

This tournament will be hosted off Faceit online in partnership with Souzern Lions.

NOTE: You have to have a Faceit account linked to your DotA account and must accept a friend request on faceit by Desolation_ZA to receive an invite to the tournament.

Tournament Format

Saturday 24th August 2019

9:30 for 10:00 - 15:00

Prize Pool (R5,000)

1st place - R2,500

2nd place - R1,500

3rd place - R1,000

Structure

Swiss Elimination Tournament style.

Round 1: 10:30

Round 2: 11:00

Round 3: 11:30

Round 4: 12:00

Round 5: 12:30

Round 6: 13:00

Round 7: 13:30

Round 8: 14:00

Round 9: 14:30

1 v 1 Rules

The following items and actions are not allowed:

• Jungling.
• Blocking the creeps or changing their direction (e.g. Fissure).
• Soul Ring.
• Infused Raindrop.
• Runes.
• Bottle
• Activating a Shrine
• Exploits/Cheats

Couriers are automatically deployed.

Victory condition: Kill enemy hero twice or destroy one tower.

House Rules

• No eating or drinking at the stations (No Alcohol).
• No external food or drink allowed into the Arena.
• No vaping or smoking indoors.
• Every ticket holder is responsible for the peripherals at their station.
• Each player can enter multiple times.
• Use good judgment.
• Participants to conduct themselves in an orderly manner at all times.
• Clean up after yourselves.
• Respect other people's property.
• You may bring your own peripherals.
• If you play with a controller, you are responsible to bring your own controller.
• If you are caught cheating/exploiting at the LAN you will be asked to leave.
• Right of admission reserved.
• Terms and Conditions apply.

Breaching the Rules

If ATK or tournament Admins determine you are or may be in breach of any provision of these rules, you or your team may be subject to disciplinary action at ATK’s or the Administrator’s sole discretion, including, without limitation, disqualification, suspension, forfeiture of any and all compensation associated with the tournament, loss of pause time, prohibition from attending future ATK events, suspension of your ATK account.
