From 17 June to 5 July, Holiday S'Cool offers a unique selection of fun, creative and enriching workshops for girls and boys ages 10 and up. This special school holiday programme compliments the Swellendam Winter School courses for ages 16+ happening at the same time, so that the whole family can come to Swellendam to grow, learn, experience and connect.

Look forward to these 8 half-day workshops with a great bunch of talented facilitators:
- Mon PM: Take Great Photos on your Phone (Henk Venter): become a visual pro with the device in your pocket!
- Tue AM: Hooray for Herbs (Yvette Mulder): pick your plants and brew a concoction – cosmetic, culinary or healing.
- Tue PM: Nature Explorers (Nick Scholtz / Jonathan Booysen): view the world with eco eyes as we explore our human footprint on nature in the surrounding Hermitage Valley.
- Wed AM: Young Chefs (Jamie Olivia): learn to make Kos Lekker Kos – some yummy traditional dishes.
- Wed PM: Adventure time on the Berry Farm: guided adventures on the farm and supervised free time with friends.
- Thur AM: Crochet is Cool (The Awesome Tannies): learn the basics of this newly hip traditional craft.
- Thur PM: Body Wisdom (Saskia van Leeuwen and Sami Cartwright): yoga, pilates, posture and breathing - tricks to love your body and keep strong during sports.
- Fri AM: Playdate with Horses (Debra-Leigh Mohle and Jenni van Niekerk): connect with these beautiful 4-legged friends in a playful and harmonious way.
Daily Schedule:
Day 1: Arrive 12.30pm for welcome lunch. Workshop from 1.30-5pm.
Day 2: Arrive 8.30am for 9am-12.30pm workshop. Lunch. Workshop from 1.30-5pm.
Day 3: Arrive 8.30am for 9am-12.30pm workshop. Lunch. Workshop from 1.30-5pm.
Day 4: Arrive 8.30am for 9am-12.30pm workshop. Lunch. Workshop from 1.30-5pm.
Day 5: Arrive 8.30am for 9am-12.30pm workshop. Lunch and goodbyes.
Price includes lunches on all days and a small mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack.
Bring along: your own water bottle, good shoes, comfy clothes - wear layers for changing weather.
