ABOUT
This course is for anyone who wants to hone their writing skills – beginners as well as more experienced writers. The course will be presented in Afrikaans, but contributions written in English are welcome.
By means of examples and class exercises we will look at some basic aspects of writing, such as character, point of view, space, plot, dialogue and detail.
I hope to challenge, stimulate and confront participants, but above all to inspire them to approach their own writing with greater self-confidence.

This course departs slightly from the standard 5-day course schedule. The course starts at 8.30am for 9am on Monday morning. We recommend a Sunday arrival. The course ends on Friday at 5pm. The Wednesday afternoon remains free for you to explore Swellendam.
