ABOUT
Are you passionate about creating a vegan world? Or do you just want some practical tools to use to talk to friends and family about veganism? Or do you just want to get more involved in effective advocacy in South Africa?
ProVeg South Africa is excited to present an informal advocacy workshop focusing on a pragmatic approach to vegan advocacy, based on the work of Dr Melanie Joy and Tobias Leenaert from the Center for Effective Vegan Advocacy (CEVA).
Topics the workshop will cover:
- Effective communication techniques
- Effective advocacy methods
- Sustainable activism
This is also a great way to meet other vegan advocates who are active in Joburg, and connect with the ProVeg team.
Dates: 17 & 18 November 2018
Venue: 11 Cecilia Road, Silvamonte, Johannesburg
Saturday evening: 17 November: 17h30 - 21h00:
- Intros and getting to know each other
- Watching some videos by Dr Melanie Joy and Tobias Leenaert, and discussion
- Delicious vegan dinner
Sunday Morning: 18 November: 09h00 - 15h00

Price: R50pp, includes dinner on Saturday night, and brunch on Sunday.
