ABOUT
James Smith is no stranger to St. Francis, having performed with the greats of Rob Thompson (as a guitar duo) and with Joe Van Der Linde (as a piano and double bass duo).
in the last 6 months he has opened for some of South Africa's most treasured musicians, such as Gerald Clarke, Dan Patlansky and Ard Matthews.
He has performed in theaters around the country in the South African hit piano show, "A Handful of Keys". Described as a "Wunderkind" and "Piano Maestro", he is known to be quite the entertainer behind the keyboards.
In this show he will be taking audiences through the last 60 years of the piano, playing the likes of Billy Joel and Elton John all the way to lesser known tunes from Tori Amos and Freddie Mercury. Not to be missed.
