About the speaker:

Mr. Vusi Mahlangu is a Founder and Managing Director of Tamela Holdings; a black-owned and managed Investment Company established by Mahlangu and his partner, Sydney Mhlarhi. Prior to Tamela, Mahlangu, Mhlarhi and Rand Merchant Bank pioneered mezzanine funds in South Africa by launching the first specialized mezzanine fund, Makalani. Makalani invested in excess of R2.5 billion in over 23 different transactions and across various sectors. Mahlangu has over 16 years’ experience in investment banking. He received a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
