Websites are now easier than ever to build and maintain. I can teach you by building your website with you. Stop being hoodwinked with geek speaking techies and take control of your online presence. No matter how technophobic... or "pre-tech"... or clueless you may feel... I am patient, and understanding... and I use plain English. You will go home informed and empowered. You'll learn how to take charge of your website text content and graphics using very simple tools.
Your workshop will include 1 year of free hosting and 15mins of free online/telephone support per month, thereafter AppCity support is charged at R500/hour. Limited to 5 people per workshop. (One on one workshops are available on request for R6000).

Time: 9am - 5pm
Lunch: Pizzas provided (with vegetarian option)
Venue: to be announced (in PMB CBD)
Who: Anyone is welcome, business owners, school leavers, bored housewives... your mother-in-law
How much: R 3000 per person, includes 1-year AppCity hosting and a launched and working website
What to bring: Laptop and charger, website idea/concept
On The Day:
1: Website concept and objective beefing up and brainstorming
2: Website look and feel layout ideas and research
3: Graphic design for the website headers, backgrounds, and feature images
4: Copywriting content creation for the website (biteable chunks of info)
5: Basic SEO (search engine optimisation: I use Yoast)
6: Publish website and authenticate with Google
7: Index your website on Google (please inform me beforehand if you don't yet have a Gmail account)
8: Set-up Google Analytics
9: Test on mobile devices
10: Website workshop graduation. ie: stay for a celebratory drink with your teacher
NOT INCLUDED:
Domain Registration (usually R150/yr)
Paid stock images (I mostly use free images but small stock images are +-R50 each)
Advanced On-Page and Off-Page SEO
Plug-ins required (for more specialised website functions)
E-Commerce (products with online check-out)
Membership sites/ Forum websites
Social Media Platform set-ups
Over 15mins of monthly support will be charged at R500/hour
