ABOUT
Join us for the Oasis Annual Conference hosted by Oasis Church from 13 - 14 July 2018 in Howick KZN. Strong families are key to sustaining revival and so this year we have a conference running for both kids and youth at the same time as our usual conference. This will enable the whole family to join us for this impacting weekend! We anticipate another wonderful time of God imparting to us through key note speakers, extravagant worship times and fun together.
John 20:19-23 is a tipping point moment for the early church and the advancement of the Kingdom across the world. Here we see a group of Jesus followers who have retreated into hiding after Jesus’ death because of fear, and in so doing find themselves alienated from the very world they have been called to reach with the Gospel. This situation feels a lot like the church today! As difficult circumstances, crippling fears, mounting intimidation and unresolved pain threaten to side track us from our divine purpose – now is the time to allow the Father to breathe fresh courage on His people.
Although this story in John 20 starts out somewhat hopeless, it doesn’t end there. Everything changes when Jesus shows up. He releases Peace into his disciples’ hearts, breathes afresh on them as they receive the Holy Spirit and reminds them that they have been SENT into the world to redeem all things. During this conference we are believing that God will set us up for a John 20 encounter – one that stills our hearts with Peace, one that breathes fresh strength into us as we make space for the Holy Spirit to empower us, and one that equips us to be SENT into the world to transform culture.

We would like to honour the THREE SPEAKERS at this year’s Prophetic Conference with a generous offering. We believe that generosity unlocks so much more in the Kingdom of God and so if you would like to sow into their lives & ministry please come prepared. We will be taking up an offering for them on the Saturday evening of the Conference.
CONFERENCE SPEAKERS
Julian Adams is from Cape Town, South Africa. Julian grew up in a pioneering Christian family and was filled with the Spirit at 4, since then he has been passionate for the person of the Holy Spirit. He’s an experienced prophet, with a strong teaching gift and has a passion to see the whole church mobilized to bring the Kingdom of God onto the streets. Julian is also a director for NEWDAY United a charity based in South Africa and England which serves some of the poorest people in Southern Africa. Julian and Katia reside in Durban, South Africa, where they serve as part of Harvest Church. Good food, red wine and classic jazz vocals are what Julian loves to do for down time. All things creative, colourful and musical makes Katia come alive!
Katia Adams, together with her husband Julian, leads Frequentsee - a prophetic ministry that serves churches, businesses and leadership teams internationally to equip and empower men and women to see Kingdom advance in the nations. Katia was born in the Middle East into a revival context and from a young age developed a passion to see the Kingdom come in great power and demonstrations of God’s love. She has a powerful teaching gift and has a desire to see men and women walk in their God-given freedom and authority to advance the Kingdom of God in the nations. She has a background as a doctor in hospital medicine. Katia, Julian and their children Ezekiel and Evangeline reside in Durban, South Africa.
Ryan Matthews is married to Melissa and together they have 4 children, Zoe¨, Gabriel, Samuel and Lily. Ryan and Melissa have recently planted FreedomHouse Church north of Durban with an incredible group of people. Prior to that they were the team leaders at Glenridge Church, Durban, as well team leaders of KingsGate Church, SW London before moving back to Durban. While establishing the work up the north coast of Durban, Ryan continues to work strategically with churches and leaders within Durban, South Africa and abroad, helping them to discover what it means to be believers that bring the Kingdom. Ryan has a particular passion to see people established in their identity, authority and mission as God's children, as well as seeing those people activated in Kingdom life and released into freedom, courage and faith. They live radically, love contagiously and are a powerful prophetic voice in our Nation.

If you cannot afford accommodation and would like to attend the conference please let us know as we have a few host families available. We would hate anybody to miss out on what God wants to do in their lives over this time because of finances. Please, however, we do ask that this offer is not taken for granted and reserved for those that really need it most. Thank you!
MEALS
As always we have a special Meal Voucher that will provide you with scrumptious, nutritious and delicious meals. This year we will be providing SUPPERS on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th July and LUNCH on Saturday 14th July, as part of this Meal Voucher. This voucher must be booked and paid for prior to the Conference, so that we can prepare adequately for your arrival.
Our in house Café will be open for the whole Conference time selling amazing cappuccinos, smoothies, hot chocolates, sodas & loads of cakes/yummy snacks. Delegates will be responsible for their own breakfast, although coffees & muffins will be on sale at Café Chazown (at The Oasis Church) from 8am every morning. Our Café is equipped with Debit/Credit Card facilities and Zapper.
RESOURCES ON SALE
There will be a number of books/dvds/curriculum resources available for sale. Payment for all resources must be made at the Resource Centre during the Conference. DEBIT CARD & ZAPPER FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE. We also stock a range of books by Bethel Leaders and other Revival Leaders, including gifts & worship CD’s.
ALL CONFERENCE SESSIONS WILL BE RECORDED AND CAN BE ORDERED FROM THE RESOURCE CENTRE DURING THE CONFERENCE.
Delegates are encouraged to bring art supplies for Prophetic Art during the Worship Times at the Conference.

We believe every young person is called to STAND OUT. Each one has a destiny to rise above shame and walk in the power and love of Jesus. We are excited to see hearts awakened as this generation comes alive and sees their schools and world transformed.

KIDS CONFERENCE
When God called us, He gave us a purpose - a reason to be. The search for purpose is often seen as a life-long battle, with very few people realising their full potential. However, this is NOT what God has in mind! He desires us to seek Him so we can discover who we are and why we are here. Remember, God did not create one-size-fits-all types of people, and during this Kids Conference we want to help our children to discover all that God hs created them for.
At the Oasis Kids Conference, as we start to explore what happens when God calls and purposes us. It's going to be so much fun! Please note that only kids whose parents are attending the main conference can attend.

Michael Moser is a youth pastor and passionate follower of Jesus. After completing 3 years of ministry school, he moved from America to South Africa to impact and ignite youth to the truth and power of the gospel. His heart is to see a generation transformed and equipped to live free of shad full of joy as they shine the love of Jesus to the world.
Luanna Hutton did a 6 month Discipleship training school with YWAM (Youth with A Mission) after that she discovered her passion for seeing people walking in their identity in Christ, breaking off the lies that people have spoken over them and walking a journey with them to discover their worth and value. Her heart is to see generations walk in complete freedom and unlock dreams that have been put aside due to fear of failure.
Micah Joy Corbett is a full time missionary from New Zealand. God called her to South Africa through a dream in the night. She is now based in a trash dump community serving the poor, seeing the lost saved, the sick healed, and the lame walk. Her passion is to release encounters of God’s love to others & empower this generation to live for Him.

Gus & Shanelle Van Niekerk are the Kids Ministry Pastors at Oasis Church. They are passionate about kids and have committed their lives to seeing kids encounter God in a real and relevant way. Week in and week out they create an platform for kids to discover who they are in God, and together with their team facilitate many fun & out the box worship experiences that transform kids hearts. As experienced educators, they both oversee the spiritual environment of Oasis Prep School, a school passionate about raising leaders that will change the world. They carry passion, commitment and deep revelation – all ingredients for an explosion of God’s life and love in your child’s heart.
