Join us for an evening of inspiration, wine and celebration, to connect with and hear from successful female entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs, and to officially launch the Johannesburg chapter of Future Females.
This is a free event, and open to everyone (females and female-lovers)!
Did you know that in 2016 just 2.5% of venture capital funding went to female entrepreneurs? And that globally, women own just 1% of the world’s wealth?
The Future Females mission is to accelerate the success of aspiring and existing female entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs – to provide an environment where females can connect, and access the key resources needed to succeed. We are women that break the mould, think bigger and are working to create a bright future.
Future Females first launched in Cape Town in August 2017 and has already grown to have over 3000 members of the community actively participating to drive our mission globally - with events in South Africa, Germany, and Namibia.

Our Johannesburg chapter is being launched by our new Future Females Johannesburg Ambassador, Cindy Laufs. Cindy has a background in public relations and international marketing, nine years in the publishing industry, working on some of South Africa’s top magazines, including House & Leisure, Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan, as well as client liaison experience gained from her work as a photographic agent, Cindy has developed a well-rounded skill set over the years. After moving from Cape Town to Johannesburg in 2014, she began a new journey, this time into digital marketing. Co-founding digital agency Hustle Media with her business partner not long afterwards, Cindy's passion for the digital space continued to grow. Her clients include a diversity of lifestyle, retail and consumer brands with local and international presence. As the Jozi Ambassador for Future Females, Cindy brings her digital, client liaison, and communication expertise to the table, helping to establish and grow the Johannesburg branch.
