Donations for Medical Assistance

On the 18th of July 2020, my son Shelby Van Wyk lost his life in a motor vehicle where and elderly gentleman skipped a stop street, one of his best friends, Jane Vorster was with him at the time. Jane is in Union Hospital in Alberton and has undergone 4 operations already. Even though her heart is broken, her spirits are high, she is a little fighter and we pray for her daily.

Jane will be in an extensive rehabilitation program as she has a broken pelvis, now held together with pins, a skull fracture, broken leg, broken Neck, open wound on her ankle, she also has been experiencing double vision and we are awaiting the result of further scans to see what the cause could be, we are hoping for the best.

The Vorster family is such a kind, respectable family, soft-hearted and obviously broken with the events that took place that day and up until now. The medical bills are pilling up and at some point the medical aid will be depleted, i am starting this fundraiser purely for the Vorster family to assist with medical bills, family responsibilities, the travel back and forth etc. Jane has a long road of recovery ahead of her and the family will need all the help they can get.
