I operate a Scholar & Charter Transport business since 2005 and I am well known in my community with a good track record & still going strong. I currently transport 400 students to 16 different schools and i have created job opportunities for 10 owner drivers within 3years. Our company's vision & mission is to inspire and empower as well as create many job opportunities for owner drivers as well as service our parents by giving them peace of mind regarding the safety of their children. Since March our country's lockdown due to Covid19 has had a huge impact on my business and all our lives financially. We have been out of business since March and the government doesn't offer nor cater for any financial grants towards the Scholar & Charter Transport industry in order to survive. I ask do we not matter, doesn't our livelihoods count, don't we have families that must be fed - We too have responsibilities, we too need to survive.
