Lokxion Foundation: showcases and celebrates life in the townships surrounding Stellenbosch through Sport and Performing Arts. Our vision is to create opportunities to discover talent amongst township youth and to give them a platform to grow. We believe that through sport and the performing arts vulnerable young people are given essential life skills – self - confidence, leadership opportunities, respect for themselves and their peers, positive and healthy life choices and, ultimately, a sense of purpose.
Craft Alive: The Stellenbosch Crafts Alive is designed to support art & craft producers through training and mentorship to become independent, sustainable entrepreneurs. The Ou Landbousaal in the Avenue(Die Laan) is the space where Art & Craft Producers have the opportunity to develop their products and businesses and sell their products. Our main objective is to create a trading space where unemployed and disregarded informal traders can truly flourish and produce inspirational local art & craft. .Our organisation is based on the philosophy that “it takes a village to build a flourishing trade environment” and we value the support and cooperation of our varied partners and community role players that share our objectives.
