The Art of Announcing Yourself

ABOUT

Whether in business or in our personal lives, we encounter many people each and every day. Many times before we open our mouths to speak we already communicate so much about ourselves to the others.

Opportunities can be lost because we are not announcing ourselves accurately. It is possible and very common that people announce themselves very different from who they are and even what they are feeling. What they announce does not line up with their goals, desires and even their thoughts. Therefore they miss out on amazing opportunities from business to relationships.

When we are intentional about announcing ourselves authentically it allows us to truly tap into the goals, possibilities and even the people we would most want to connect with.

Giving off an uninterested vibe could turn a customer away. Even though you are so excited to sell as much as you can, your body language (among other things) could be communicating that you are uninterested, bored or unhelpful. Similarly, we could be communicating that we have a lack of confidence when we should be communicating that we are confident and in control.

We dive into this by understanding what we are currently communicating vs what we want to announce and from there we identify how to make the adjustments to accurately announce ourselves.

Don’t lose another job, relationship, opportunity and possibility because you, your staff or your team are not announcing yourselves well.
