The AfroFuture Jazz group lead by SAMA award-winning bassist Shane Cooper, known for epic live performances that traverse afrocentric grooves and cinematic journeys... Their debut album Welcome To This World epitomises their approach to live improv performance and continues to received vast domestic and international support.
At their Untitled Basement expect musical experiments earmarked for a new studio album and new interpretations of pieces from Welcome to This World.
Mabuta features an all-star cast of new generation South African Jazz/funk musicians: Shane Cooper - basses, Bokani Dyer - keys, Sisonke Monti - sax, Robin Fassie - trumpet, Marlon Witbooi - drums.
