SAARKIE is a female Rock ‘n Roll trio from Pretoria, South Africa. These three ladies have a massive stage presence and capture their audience from the first note they play. The band is skilled and energetic with a fresh, unique vibe writing in English and Afrikaans.
Adele and Lila started a quirky five piece chick band in High School, initially just for fun. Their first performance was held in the garage. They progressed and played at numerous school events, soon thereafter to be named ‘Best Newcomer” at Aardklop in 2006. Their passion for music grew, and they continued to perform after school.
The band constantly tours all over the country, performing at various events and festivals gaining connections, knowledge and experience in the South African Music Industry.
