I've been in the world of PR and Communications for more than 15 years and the one question I get asked all the time is, 'how do I use PR to grow my personal profile and brand or my business? '


With this two hour session, I will help you understand how PR works and how you can make it work for you no matter what you or your business does. Most importantly, I will share with you tips and tricks that will assist you in building and managing your reputation strategy that works. Public relations is a very effective way of building your reputation and influence.


This masterclass is aimed at individuals and business owners looking to find effective ways to grow their brands and influence.

About me:

I'm a PR & Communications Consultant with 15 years' experienced as a senior manager in the financial services (with companies such as Old Mutual and Metropolitan Health Group) and as an independent consultant across different sectors. Some of the organisations I have consulted for include the Children's Radio Foundation, Uprise.Africa and ACTIVATE! Change Drivers.:


Currently, I am running two businesses PR Trends ZA, a PR and communications consultancy that focuses on reputation & events management and crisis communication

consulting and Coding Mamas, a tech startup that teaches moms to code. I speak regularly on reputation management and am a regular contributor to SABC's tech and social media news show, Network, SAFM and Capricorn FM's Breakfast Show


I've studied Journalism (CPUT), International Relations & Media (UCT). Recently, she completed a journalism fellow at Wits Journalism on their Journalism and Media Lab accelerator programme. Her innovation project as part of JAMLAB was one of the 9 winners of the SA Media Investment Programme's Innovation Challenge in 2017.
