Shift1Degree runs hands-on, interactive training and development workshops across South Africa to help people who believe in developing themselves, gain personal understanding and business skills to build, develop and grow a successful business.
------------------------------------------
Bridget is a Coach, Trainer and Accredited Qualified Facilitator who knows, first-hand, how hard it can be to start, develop and grow a business. After employing herself for over 10 years in the health and fitness industry, Bridget set about diversifying her skills. In 2013 she left Health and Fitness to purchase and create a venue for hire while trading on the JSE. This led to her becoming a partner in an international training company, and she ran workshops throughout South Africa for business owners in the art of referral networking and relationship building.
At the start of 2019, a personal inquiry into the outworking of her purpose resulted in Bridget founding a company called Shift1degree, through which she runs interactive workshops for freelance health professionals that provide the know-how to employ themselves as business owners, and how to grow a profitable and sustainable business.
“Success may be found in that one step, that one moment, that one degree change - because small changes create big results” - Bridget Knight

Intle Art is a community youth upliftment initiative, operating from the Sembach Gallery, that enables disadvantaged, talented and aspiring young artists from Hout Bay to acquire and develop artistic and business skills and opportunities so that they are equipped to earn a living from their art.
Intle Art collaborates with professionals from various industries to be able to provide its participants with quality skills development opportunities. Facilitators thus offer one workshop at no charge to the Intle Art community and a second one to the public, which is jointly hosted and the revenue from which is shared between the facilitating party and Intle Art.
