Dangerfields are a shoegaze/post-punk band from Cape Town, South Africa. They have a reputation for putting on live performances that take their listeners on a journey that is at times up-beat and noisey and at other times slow and introspective, but always atmospheric and evocative.

Simply put, Runaway Nuns are five friends making the kind of music that drives people to fall in love with themselves and who they can be. They’re a garage, surf, punk rock band that takes gang vocals, spacey riffs, punk progressions and colossal drums, and gleefully melds them into one of the most exciting sounds to come out of Cape Town in years. Fans love. Crowds love it. Heck, even their parents love it! But this is a press release, so of course it’d say all this. The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating. So go and listen to their debut album and make up your own damn mind.
