As we close the doors of 2019, and journey into a New year, we body as one, and join on ‘The Tale Of Time”. We’re preparing to take you on a musical journey, and give you the NYE key to life, happiness and adventure.

THE KIFFNESS

THE KIFFNESS makes jazzy, groovy and uplifting house music and is one

of South Africa’s favourite live electronic acts. From 2013, founder and

brainchild David Scott has had great success in the South African music

industry, racking up a total of 5 SAMA nominations and multiple singles

play-listed across national radio stations – most of which have reached

top 10 status in the Top 40 charts. 2014 album Kiff debuted at #3 on the

iTunes album charts and 2017 album Soul Safari debuted at #2.

During his studies at Rhodes University, Dave played a handful of

instruments in multiple bands while also DJing at a couple nightclubs.

After completing his BA (Music & Philosophy) at Rhodes in 2009, Dave

moved to Cape Town to study sound engineering & finished top of his

class at Cape Audio College. Using his experience in live bands &

newfound knowledge in production, he began fusing live instruments

with electronic beats, and in early 2011 The Kiffness was born.
