Food by Mpho is a platform of conversations over culinary delicates. Curated for an intimate number of guests from various backgrounds, the monthly dinners are fast becoming a must-attend calendar event.
Mpho and team pair a palatable four course dinner with different wine offerings from the Cape region. The subtle mix of conversations, good company and a tasty meal is something our guests now look forward to on any given first Friday of each month.
Each seating also exposes our guest diners to a visual artist's work that will be showcased to encourage purchase of local creations. The adage "Buy local" also resonates with our culinary vision to support upcoming artists.
The venue setting has 270 degrees panoramic views of eastern and southern Johannesburg in the precinct of Maboneng- an artsy neighbourhood which has been a drawcard for discerning travellers and offering a diversity of entertainment and social attractions.
