To stand out in the noisy world of today you need to clearly differentiate your brand. The words “thought leader” and “personal branding” can be somewhat contentious. However, I believe that moving forward everyone needs to become more intentional with how they portray themselves and their thinking.

This masterclass won’t turn you into a thought leader. But it will equip you with ideas and tools that I have spent years refining through establishing my own brand.

I have been creating content online for more than 9 years. During this time I built up one of South Africa’s biggest niche online communities and had a subscriber base rivaling those of established brands.

My personal brand has opened many doors for me over the years:

• It allowed me to publish a book
• I have been featured in GQ, 702, CNBC, Espresso, and many more
• I have been able to pursue keynote speaking and coaching as a fulltime career
• I am invited (and paid) to share my thinking on stages across South Africa.
• Recently launched a new podcast that immediately landed in the Top Shows charts on iTunes
• I act as a Thinking Partner to many top executives and entrepreneurs.

Perhaps most importantly. Over the years I have completely rebranded and reinvented myself. This is what allowed me to go from being a physiotherapist to speaking on stages and coaching at a high level.

I tell you all of this simply for you to understand that I am a practitioner in the field and that through thought leadership and personal branding my life has changed.

Make no mistake though. This is not a quick fix. Creating a strong personal brand can take years. But, trust me, you can save yourself a lot of time by better organising your approach and strategies from the start!
