The Bag Factory Artists' Studios annual Picnic Blanket Fundraiser is taking place on Saturday 23 May at 12:30pm. This wonderful, fun-filled, family day out generates funding for the developmental projects run by the Artists' Studios. Picnicers can enjoy Savernake, a wonderful private home located in Parktown. This 19th century home and garden is a marvel. Fantastic music and entertainment, delicous food and good wine make for a lovely afternoon. Children are more than welcome and there will a superivsed kiddies area, allowing parents to take a load off.During the event an auction of contemporary art works will be held. The proceeds of the auctions goes to helping young artists develop their careers and become sustainable entrepreneurs.
