Jazz on Red presents The Winston Siljeur Quartet Live at the iconic Radisson Red Hotel Cape Town.
Winston Siljeur hails from a small town called Robertson in the Breede Valley District, Western Cape, SA. Currently residing in Somerset West, Western Cape, SA, as a musician function as a Pianist, Session Musician, Musical Director, Arranger, Producer, Composer and a Music Theory & Piano Teacher. Winston is the founder of the esteemed band, Winston Siljeur Project and CEO of Winston Siljeur Productions (Pty) Ltd and is proudly powered by Paul Bothner Music, Didi's Grooming Studio and Camen Menswear.
In 2008 he studied Classical Piano at the Conservatorium, University of Stellenbosch. Winston was a Piano Teach at W. Heuer Musikhaus in Stellenbosch from 2009 - 2014. Taught Theory & Piano at Cape Music Institute for renowned Cape Town Jazz Pianist, Camillo Lombard from 2009 - 2017, to mention a few. Currently emoployed as the Music Department Coordinator at Pneumatix Performing Arts Academy, Somerset West.
He has worked with amazing artists like Cara Frew, Alicia Monique Bianco (Miss Arizone, USA), Darren Green (Doctor & TV Personality), Sarah Teibo (UK MOBO Award Nominee), Seth & Nirva (Dynamic Husband & Wife Duo, Philadelphia, USA), SAMA Award Winners Ernie Smith & Anton Goosen, SAMA Award Nominees Can Skylark, Lloyd Cele, Heinz Winkler, Claire Philips, Jesse Jordan and Julanie J. Recorded with Ola Sax, Cappuccino the Band, Umururu, Alakhe Schweni and Charlyn Davids. He has also recorded with Anton Goosen (Afrikaans Music Legend) on his latest album, "Padkos" as well as the theme song entitled Siembamba for the movie entitled, "The Lullaby".
Winston is the Cape Town based Musical Director for Noel Robinson (UK Integrity Artist), SAMA Award Nominee Shaun P., Germany based artist Paul Adams, Julanie J and Charlyn Davids. He played and musically directed productions like Op Gister Se Voetspore, Woman 2 Woman and performed the award-winning show, AfriKaaps. He has travelled to places like Dubai, Seychelles and the UK.
