ABOUT

Cape Town, lets hang out! Yo Grapes and LUMA are coming down all the way from Johannesburg for one night!

Yo Grapes

// Yo Grapes is the indie-pop act of Craig Durrant, who also happens to be the drummer of local indie/ rock fellows Desmond and the Tutus. Craig has been creating, releasing and performing songs since 2011 and has since found a loyal following of fans in a whole bunch of different places. People seem to enjoy songs like ‘I Play The Drums’, ‘December’ and ‘Human of the Week’ which are a combination of made up stories, true life events and other words that rhyme or sound nice in the moment.//

LUMA

// Luma is a Johannesburg based electronic dream pop act. Lead by Jenny Dison of Bye Beneco and Sol Gems. Her sound is forever changing while keeping its core in its electronic element. The project thrives on collaboration as she often performs with different South African musicians of all kinds of musical backgrounds. LUMA usually performs with Tshepang Ramoba and Mpumi Mcata of Blk Jks fame. Her live performances are intimate while they also involve visuals and live instrumentation. The production on stage gets bigger with each show. LUMA encompasses psych and afro- beat rythyms which flows with their electronic elements.//

Special guest to be announced soon!
