An African Sound Journey with Dave Reynolds, Pops Mohamed & Yoga by Johann Kotze
We begin with a general yoga session conducted by Johann Kotze (no previous yoga experience necessary) preparing the body and mind for stillness.
As this ends in savasana (corpse pose), Dave and Pops take us on a journey into the African bush using sounds from a range of indigenous African instruments. In this deep state of silent observation, we are able to experience pure consciousness, free from all the business of our life and the mind's chatter.
As we return to the room, Dave & Pops will play us a few tunes from their SAMA nominated album "Live in Grahamstown" which was recorded at the Standard Bank Jazz Festival (click here to listen).
Space is limited to 15 participants. We require ten pledges to confirm this event. Get your pledge now to guarantee your place (and save a bit of cash), and please help by sharing this page with people you think would appreciate this event. Once ten pledges are received, there will be another 5 general tickets sold (at a higher price) and we'll email you with the address the day before.
