Hysterically honest, and honestly Hysterical. Comedian, Radio host and MC. Kellyn, has performed from New York to Singapore and venues all over South Africa. Rob van Vuuren became a comedian by mistake while he was trying to be an actor. It was bound to happen though, if you consider his shortness to awesomeness ratio multiplied by his genius and augmented by the fact that he is a bit of a dick. He cut his teeth in the mid to late 90’s (after graduating from Rhodes University) as an actor specializing in Physical theatre with a natural talent for physical comedy. To this day, Rob’s stand-up is characterized by absurd, surreal, and disturbingly hilarious physical interpretations of situations and characters. As far back in the mists of time as 1999 the press had begun to pick up on this remarkable young comedic talent.
Stuart Cairns is a Cape Town based comedian. He has lived all over South Africa from Louis Trichardt (Makado) to Pietermaritzburg. His stand-up has been described as enigmatic, incorporating a combination of rant, impersonation and self effacement. Cairns won the 2014 Good Hope FM Laughmaster Competition and subsequently performed at the 10th annual Jive Funny Fest. He is one of the producers of Down in the Basement and On a Roll Comedy.

Devin is always able to hold his ground when on stage with the big stars with his own brand of comedy that can relate to all audiences. From jokes as simple as a family of balloons to hard hitting political satire, Devin’s Comedy is extremely diverse.
Gino Fernandez is all about Stand Up Comedy, one of the most exciting comedians to be working on the comedy circuit in South Africa, also being a major influence in keeping the stand up comedy scene alive in Cape town. With the desire to do stand up comedy he came in as it was about to fade away, having bridged the gap from the CCC-(Cape Comedy Collective which was run by Comedian Mark Sampson which produced the likes of Riaad Moosa, Loyiso Gola, Marc Lottering, Nik Rabinowitz, Stuart Taylor, Kurt Schoonraad, David Kau and many more of the country’s leading stand up comedians at the Armchair Theatre) ending in 2005 to The Starving Comics est. 2008 till today.
Yaaseen Barnes is a Comedian from Cape Town’s tight-knit Muslim community. He won the title of Laugh Master 2014. I just want to tell jokes and be universally funny,” he says. Yaaseen Barnes is being pegged as “the new king of one-liners”.He won the Joker’s Comedy Championship, which earned him a debut gig at Jou Ma Se Comedy Club. Since then he has performed regularyly all over the Cape Town and Joburg comedy circuits.
Brendan Murray is an actor, writer, stand up and voice artist. Angel – yes, her name really is Angel – is a relatively new face on the South African comedy scene and she has already started to make her mark. She is a staple in comedy tents at rock festivals like Rocking the Daisies, Synergy, Rock the River and has MCed Up the Creek from 2011 – 2013. She has also made three appearances on Comedy Central’s “Kings and Queens of Comedy” stage alongside SA’s biggest and best comics.
