ABOUT

HE HAD IT COMING

About the Play

In the tradition of other one-person satirical revues by the writer (Bafana Republic, Pay Back the Curry, State Fracture and Land Acts), He had it coming is a multi-sketch revue that combines drama, singing and poetry in making pointed commentary about contemporary themes in the South African social and political landscape. Various woman character sketches have been extracted from other revues to make up He had it coming, with a couple of new sketches that will be performed for the first time as part of this play. The multi-sketch nature of the piece allows for sketches that become dated to be replace by new, more relevant and up-to-date sketches.

Whether it be acting on stage or screen, presenting live for the 2017 AFDA Cape Town Awards, singing live as a Chicken Licken Soul Sister or performing in a musical, she greets challenges with open arms.
