What is the TREASURE HUNT?
It is a FUN day activity taking place IN and around CAPE TOWN on SATURDAY the 14th of March.
Who is it for?
It is for EVERYONE and ANYONE to take part, you get to choose and make your own teams with your Family and Friends.
How do the teams work?
You need one vehicle per team, to drive you around to the various activities as you collect the treasure on the way.
How far will we be driving?
Its about 60kms of driving between the activities, if you figure out the clues properly and don't get lost ...
Where does it start?
It starts at a SECRET LOCATION released the morning of the RACE, but lets just say its somewhere close to Kirstenbosch Gardens
What time does it start?
Registration opens at 09:30AM and you can start as soon as you recieve your first CLUE.
Is there a starting cut off time?
Yes, you have to be there before 11:00AM to make the RACE
How does it work?
You and your friends REGISTER on the day with your Quicket Ticket to recieve your first CLUE.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are R80 per person over 16 otherwise R40 per person and a R20 TEAM registration fee payed on the day, before you recieve your FIRST clue.
Where do I get the tickets?
You can BUY them online through Quicket or at the registration desk on the day.
Are their benifits if I buy presale?
YES, you get added into the JACKPOT DRAW automatically.
Are their age restrictions?
ANYONE can come PLAY, as long as you have a licensed driver on the day and a seatbelt per person in the vehicle.
What do we need to bring with?
- One car per team. (Decorated if possible)
- Smart device with GPS location services and an internet connection
- Car charger for your mobile so the battery doesn't go flat.
- Snacks and drinks.
- About 60kms worth of fuel in your team vehicle.
- Interesting item of clothing/same color t-shirts
Can I register ONLINE?
Yes, you can register from your phone or any smart device
How do I register and login?
Its easy, you log in with your mobile number and recieve a FREE SMS secret code to verify its you and you get to keep your SCORE
How do I invite my Friends to join my team?
Don't worry, we will do it for you. Simply add their name and contact and we will send them a SMS for you.
What time does it end?
The RACE cut off time is at 4pm with the results being released that evening ONLINE, the earlier you get there the better.
How do I check the results?
You log in with your mobile and secret code to see the scores, and we deliver your PRIZE to your door.
What is the PRIZE if I WIN?
Prizes consist of TREASURE packages created by our trusted COLLABORATORS and PARTNERS.
How do PRIZES get allocated?
We have a strict managment system, with various categories and various PRIZES so everyone can stand a chance to WIN.
Could I donate a PRIZE?
YES, we are always open to recieving more support so others can benifit and together we can spread a greater awearness of what you do. Maybe leave a TREASURE at your door.
